Despite opposition leader Yair Lapid's anguished cry of "what are we talking about – there isn't one official body in the world that's proposing unilateral recognition of the Palestinians," the Knesset, by a vote of 99 out of the Knesset's 100 Jewish MKs and members of Zionist parties, approved a resolution submitted by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that opposed "unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state."
