Any release from captivity to freedom opens the universe's deepest wellsprings of joy, and all the more so when we're talking about captives or hostages whose physical and emotional condition is shrouded in fog, whose place of captivity is unknown, but who are clearly known to be in constant danger – just like residents of the Gaza Strip, who have been under bombardment for eight months now.
