Without aggressive international intervention, which few states have finally begun doing, Israel will slowly collapse. It's a very good thing that the European Union's foreign ministers have joined the United States in imposing sanctions on violent settlers. If they don't stop it, the settlement enterprise will devour Israel and swallow it whole. And only the world will be able to do this, because in Israel, there are no longer enough liberal forces capable of stopping it.
