Last summer I wrote here that the judicial coup was unnecessary, because Israel's courts are full of judges who are at the beck and call of Justice Minister Yariv Levin and Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee chair MK Simcha Rothman, and that in fact there was no reason to fix something that was already working.
