Billionaire Elon Musk headlined a rally for Donald Trump this month at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Earlier this month, during his final push to help Donald Trump return to the White House, Elon Musk incorporated a mysterious entity called "United States of America Inc.," Forbes first revealed.

Details about the company were scant at the time, apart from its connection to the billionaire's family office through a shared mailing address in Austin, Texas. It was unknown, for example, whether the entity was part of Musk’s political action committee, “America PAC,” which has spent millions of dollars campaigning for Trump and other Republican candidates since its launch in May.

This week, however, people who participated in Musk’s voter blitz began receiving checks issued by United States of America Inc., finally shedding some light on its purpose.
