Top Forbes | SHOOK financial advisors and Wall Street investment firms have pledged more than $500,000 toward development of a new drug therapy hoping to cure metastatic breast cancer.

The fundraising effort was led by SHOOK Research in partnership with the Susan G. Komen foundation.

The donations will fund research undertaken by Sara Tolaney, M.D., of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard Medical School, who is developing a drug therapy that relies on antibody-drug conjugates to attack specific cancers.

The givers listed below are entrusted with hundreds of billions of dollars in client assets. They are also the leaders in their communities. And now they are helping to save women’s lives.
