The Wolseley To Launch A Flagship Hotel In New York

The beloved London restaurant The Wolseley is expanding into a hotel brand next year, and New York will be the site of its flagship. The Future Of The Nikki Beach Empire

Nearly 30 years ago, Nikki Beach in Miami revolutionized the idea of what a day at the beach could be with live music, canopied daybeds and, of course, bottle service all around. Now, after a prolonged legal battle, Nikki Beach Miami Beach may be closing in May after losing its lease to Major Food Group (most famous for the Carbone empire)—but the party will continue around the world. Nikki Beach cofounder Lucia Penrod tells Forbes that she is still fighting to keep the original location in South Beach, but notes that there are 11 other clubs along the global party belt—from Saint-Tropez to Saint Barth. And Penrod also recently launched a new hospitality brand in her own image—Lucia Beach.
