Tax Day 2026 Deals: Free Food, Discounts And Other ‘Tax Relief’ |
Ready to file your tax return? While Tax Day often means settling up with the IRS, it also comes with a small consolation prize: a wave of deals, freebies, and promotions that have turned April 15 into a shopping and dining event. From discounted meals to tax-themed giveaways, brands are offering a little “relief” of their own—no forms or schedules required.
More deals are expected to pop up as the deadline approaches, so check back often, especially around lunch and happy hour on April 15. New additions will be marked with (NEW) to help you find them quickly.
Here’s what’s on tap so far:
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse. BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse is celebrating Tax Day by offering $10 off any $40 order for takeout or delivery orders on April 15.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is helping guests turn Tax Day into a tasty write-off with $10 off orders of $50 or more using code WRITEOFF. The online-exclusive deal is available on dickeys.com and the Dickey’s app on Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15 at all locations nationwide.
Fazoli’s. Rewards members at Fazoli’s can get a buy-one-get-one-free Baked Spaghetti deal at participating locations on April 15.
Great American Cookies. On Tax Day, Great American Cookies loyalty members can buy one cookie cake slice and get one free at participating locations (in-store only).
Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. On April 15, guests can enjoy $10.40 off any purchase of $40 or more all day (dine-in, to-go, and online with code TAXDAY26). The offer applies across the menu, is valid at most Grimaldi’s locations (excluding Brooklyn and Las Vegas Palazzo), and cannot be combined with other offers.
Grubhub. Grubhub is helping diners ease their “Taxiety” with the Grubhub Fee Return – giving back $100,000 in Grubhub credit to diners who paid fees on food delivery apps in 2025. Users can also score $10.40 off $50 orders from select partners like Sweetgreen, Krispy Kreme, and Chili’s, or $10 off a first order with code FEERETURN10 (for more info, check out the company’s Tax Day themed webpage).
Jersey Mike’s. Jersey Mike's is relaunching the Boardwalk Bundle for a limited time on April 13. The deal starts at $10.99 (a nod to Form 1099). It includes a regular #2 sub, chips, and a drink and isn’t valid for delivery.
Kona Ice. Call it a palate cleanser for your tax stress. The brand’s annual “Chill Out Day” returns with free shaved ice at participating locations. No purchase........
