Blackstone-Backed AirTrunk Earmarks $8 Billion To Expand Data Center Footprint In Japan

AirTrunk—the Australian data center operator backed by U.S. private equity giant Blackstone—is investing as much as $8 billion to scale up its capacity in Japan amid increased demand for cloud computing and AI infrastructure in the country.
