Good morning,
One of the most stressful experiences high schoolers face is preparing for life after graduation—whether it’s college or starting a career. But one edtech startup is betting it can “gamify” the post-grad process—and it’s paying off.
SchooLinks, from 2018 Forbes Under 30 lister Katie Fang, recently raised $80 million, Forbes exclusively reported, despite tough times for education technology startups. The company’s digital platform includes aptitude tests, job and internship search functions and virtual college tours.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang joined the top 10 in Forbes’ real-time billionaire rankings Monday, as the tech company has become the poster child for the 2020s generative AI boom. A former waiter and Denny’s busboy, Huang is the first Asian American to break into Forbes’ top 10 after his net worth climbed $3.6 billion to $125.4 billion, topping the fortune of former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
Hugging Face, the online repository where users can download generative AI models, has hosted tens of thousands of models containing hidden code that can poison data and steal information from users, security researchers say. “The old Trojan horse computer viruses that tried to sneak malicious code onto your system have evolved for the AI era,” said Ian Swanson, founder of security startup Protect AI. Some of the bad actors are even setting up fake profiles to pose as Meta or other tech companies to lure downloads from the unwary, Swanson says.
