BIGGER PICTURE: His superpower? Making food disappear.

James Webb, 35, had a very interesting Labor Day weekend in Buffalo. He was crowned National Chicken Wing Eating Champion after wolfing down 236 wings in 12 minutes. If that isn’t impressive enough, the previous year he ate a world-record 278 wings, defeating the legendary Joey Chestnut and the twice-reigning champion of the wing-eating competition, Miki Sudo.

For the uninformed, Joey Chestnut is the face of Major League Eating, most notably for his multitude of wins in the Nathan’s Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest every July 4.

From Australia, Webb is ranked No. 1 in his home country and No. 4 in the world.
