I’ve been doing a lot of music writing lately. I hope you caught my interview with Kevin Crawford, the flute player for Lúnasa, the Irish band that played at the Smith three weeks ago. Such fun.
I’ve also been writing for Nippertown, the Schenectady Gazette’s entertainment blog. I do that for personal satisfaction (they don’t pay me), and I’ve recently written about Tim Reynolds from the Dave Matthews Band. Tim has his own band, TR3, which predates the DMB. Those who read me know that I am a huge DMB fan — I got to meet Tim after his show in Hudson Falls in January, and I have been over the moon ever since.
This was actually our second interview; I did one for the FLT when he played at Lincoln Hill Farms in Canandaigua in 2022. He remembered me because he thought I was funny.
