Dear Janice,

My new man asks me for money and I’m not sure I like it.

We’ve been dating a few months now, and on three different occasions he asked to borrow money because he was ‘caught short’.

But I don’t understand how he wouldn’t know what’s in his account before he took me out.

He always paid me back, but my friends think I’m nuts and should dump him and look for a guy who doesn’t treat me like a cash machine.

Aside from this, I do really like him.

Personally, I’d be more embarrassed asking to borrow money, than I would admitting that I didn’t have enough for a date!
