My boyfriend is ashamed of my job.
I wait tables in a cafe, and I love it. I work with a great bunch of people and have friendly chats with so many lovely customers.
Okay, I’ll never be rich, but I get a decent wage and great tips, so for now it suits me fine.
If people ask where I work, my boyfriend says it’s only temporary until I get a decent job. I assume he means a profession like him and his friends.
But I have no intention of finding another job just because he doesn’t approve, so how can I get him to accept it and stop being embarrassed by what I do?
