Notice The Mythomaniac People
More Than Just Lies
Mythomania is the pathological disorder of lying. Mythomania is a psychological condition characterised by habitual or compulsive lying. It’s not just about telling lies, but an uncontrollable urge to do so. These individuals, mythomaniacs, do this either to attract attention or to feel good about themselves. They have no respect for themselves or for those around them. It's selfish and arrogant behavior in every way. I'm sure you have mythomaniacs around you. I have plenty of them. I just don't want it to seem like the disease of the century, because wherever humans exist, lying will exist. But some people go to extremes. In that case, you might need to build a solid wall between yourself and those people.
Mythomania is often rooted in deeper psychological issues. Self-esteem issues often play a significant role in compulsive lying. Individuals with low self-esteem may resort to lying to create a more favorable image of themselves. One key indicator is inconsistencies in the individual’s stories or statements. These inconsistencies may be subtle and hard........
