In recent years, the increasing Arab population and cultural influences in Turkey have frequently raised the question: “Are we becoming Arabised?” However, this cannot be viewed as a one-sided cultural interaction. Turkey’s secular, modern, and liberal lifestyle norms are also having a significant impact on the Arab population. Notably, countries like Saudi Arabia have shown interest in Turkey’s secular values and have partially embraced them, adding a complex dimension to this discussion.
The growing presence of Arabs in Turkey, particularly in the real estate market and urban areas, has accelerated cultural exchange processes.
