In the opening days of 2026, the Presidential Symphony Orchestra of Turkey (CSO) captivated Ankara’s classical music audience with a concert that left a lasting impression. Held on Friday evening, January 9, at the Ziraat Bank Main Hall of CSO Ada Ankara, the event featured the CSO under the baton of renowned Japanese conductor Masato Suzuki, with internationally acclaimed pianist Can Çakmur as soloist.

Despite the characteristic winter cold of Ankara, the hall was filled to capacity. Thanks to the venue’s modern heating system, the audience enjoyed the concert in a comfortable atmosphere. The program masterfully combined the passionate Romanticism of Franz Liszt with the revolutionary spirit of Ludwig van Beethoven, offering listeners both an emotional and intellectual journey.
