Column: Arkansas works to save green-tree reservoir hardwoods
When I lived in Washington, D.C., in the 1980s, my favorite way to start each morning was with a cup of coffee and a copy of The Washington Post. If that copy included a column by outdoors writer Angus Phillips, I usually read the column first. Phillips, who graduated from Boston University with an English degree, was a master wordsmith who just happened to write about hunting and fishing.
