On Jan. 20, the prime minister spoke in Davos, Switzerland, where he stated, “the rules-based order is fading.” While his speech concerned the necessity for local and global economic restructuring, his words have resonated with me in relation to trends developing in Alberta.
Personally, I’ve witnessed and observed conflict in other parts of the world and mused to myself: “If we could just bring them here; let them see how we do it in Canada then they will see how to do it in their own countries.”
