Opinion: CFL rule changes: Offside play or game-saver? The CFL is enjoying an exciting season with scoring and touchdowns up. Out of 66 games, 42 were comeback wins, 32 decided in the final three minutes, and 15 decided by three points of less. However, despite the exciting games, attendance is up only marginally, TV ratings have been on a downward trend for almost a decade, and most of the teams lose money.
