Village pub closes doors to make way for new landlords |
The Wortwell Bell, just off the A143 between Bungay and Harleston, has shut and will remain closed until the new landlords arrive.
The Stonegate-owned pub has closed more than three times in the past three years, with one incident seeing a car smash into the front of the premises.
The 18th-century pub, in a statement said: "The tenancy of The Wortwell Bell has now been taken on under a new lease.
"We were really hoping to work things out behind the scenes, as we would have loved to have stayed, but unfortunately that hasn't been possible.

"I've had the most amazing time here and met some truly wonderful people along the way - people I know I'll stay in touch with.
"A huge thank you from me and my team for all your support, kindness, and for making The Bell what it has been. It's been an absolute privilege to be part of this community."
Stonegate has been contacted for comment.
