Beloved headteacher at village school retiring after 18 years

Colby Primary School will be saying farewell to Christine Mead at a special event on December 18.

Reflecting on her time at the school, Mrs Mead said: "It has been a privilege to lead Colby Primary School for nearly two decades,

"I am proud of the achievements of our pupils and staff, and I will always treasure the relationships built here,

"Colby is a very special place, and I know it will continue to flourish."
