Temporary traffic lights cause delays in town centre |
Multi-way traffic lights, put in place by UK Power Networks, are on King Street in Mildenhall.
They were installed yesterday and are permitted to remain in the town until Friday, March 13.
A section of King Street has been dug up, as well as the path.
Due to the path being dug up, a temporary footpath has been placed in the road, with barriers in place.
According to permits, UK Power Networks is carrying out the work for utility repair and maintenance.
Traffic sensors are showing queues building up along Queensway to West Row, as well as delays on North Terrace and Kingsway.
