Heavily-armed US gunships arrive at RAF airbase |
The AC-130J Ghostrider gunships arrived at RAF Mildenhall on Sunday, January 4, with more planes landing at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.
Some of the aircraft came from Fort Campbell in Kentucky, which is home to the US Army's 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, known as the Night Stalkers.
