John Slater, 85, who was described as a 'serial sexual abuser' was initially jailed for eight-and-a-half years after being convicted of nine sex offences involving four young girls and a boy.
He was sentenced, then aged 73, to a further 14-and-a-half years at Norwich Crown Court in 2014 for offences against another young girl.
His death at HMP Norwich on November 26 is being examined by the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman, the statutory body that launches an independent investigation........
