Parents with children at Reedham Primary School and Winterton Primary School were sent a letter in July informing them of the proposed changes.

A provisional date for the trial of the shortened hours was scheduled last week and the test went ahead at the two schools and will be in place for the entire academic year.

As part of the reduction, Fridays will be shortened to a 1pm finish, rather than the usual 3.15pm, with the Monday to Thursday schedule remaining the same.........
