Farmers to relaunch café and bar at country wellness barn as 'Revive'

Be Well Barn owners Will and Sarah Edwards felt their café, bar and events business deserved its own branding and wanted to open it up more to villagers and a wider range of customers.

From Sunday (January 18), they are launching Revive with a new menu - and its own client base.

The aim is to appeal to local people - and people from further afield - who may not be interested in visiting the premium fitness facilities they have created at Wash Farm on the outskirts of Redlingfield village near Eye.

The Edwards launched Be Well Barn fitness and spa centre in May 2023. Both are farmers and physiotherapists and saw an opportunity to use a picturesque corner of a field to create a hospitality and wellness oasis.

The hospitality side is open to everyone - regardless of membership - and they have been working to get that message out there.

"Basically with the café and bar and events side of things when we opened it was originally leased to a third party and that didn't work out so we quickly took it in-house and luckily found Julia Matthews - our kitchen lead - and got things going," explained Will.

"We landed on our feet with Julia coming on board very quickly and got ourselves up and running."
