Scrutton Bland has snapped up well-established Norwich firm Argents Chartered Accountants.

Scrutton Bland and its offices in Colchester, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds became part of the much larger UK-wide Sumer Group in April last year.

The firm has described the latest deal as a "significant step" in its regional growth.
