Joanna Rochester had hoped to build three houses on farmland off Fairfields Way in Burgh, by Aylsham, with eco-friendly designs.
But the bid was met with strong opposition from locals and Broadland District Council rejected her planning application earlier this year.
The council believed the development would result in an "unacceptable encroachment into the open countryside" and would be "detrimental to highway safety".
So Mrs Rochester appealed her case to the Planning Inspectorate, which rules over planning disputes.........
