Why you might not see a giant turbine turning above town

The Gulliver wind turbine at Ness Point has seen a major overhaul being carried out by renewable energy company Thrive Renewables.

However, some people have noticed the new blades are not turning, raising questions that the whole project is a "white elephant".

But Thrive Renewables say that while it is back on the grid, it is occasionally taken offline to make final improvements.
