REVEALED: The market town that shoplifters avoid |
Astonishingly it has been revealed that so far this year Bungay has only had one incident of shoplifting.
The amazingly low number was uncovered in an FOI request by this paper to Suffolk police which showed how many shoplifting offences were recorded in the area since 2021.
Shoplifting in Bungay has remained in the single digits in the past five years, with three recorded in 2021, five in 2022, six in 2023, and eight in 2024.
