Pressure mounts on council to move forward with primary school plans |
North Norfolk MP Steffan Aquarone has issued a new plea to Norfolk County Council to act on its plans for Holt Primary School's move which was put on hold last year.
County Hall had said declining birth rates mean there is no current need for the change, which would have seen the school move from Norwich Road to Beresford Road.
But Mr Aquarone has said that the current primary school is facing an "increasing number of issues that need to be fixed" and has urged for the scheme to go-ahead.
