Car park bid for rundown seafront site takes step forward

North Norfolk District Council has now applied for planning permission to build a pay and display car park at North Lodge Park in Cromer in an effort to revitalise the vacant site.

It comes after the council revisited the idea earlier this year with a public consultation, when Tim Adams, Cromer ward member and council leader, said that doing nothing with the site was "not an option".
