Bid for new homes given go-ahead despite neighbours' concerns

Developer Sprake & Tyrrell had submitted a proposal to East Suffolk Council to build nine properties on grazing land off Station Road in Brampton.

In a planning statement, it said the scheme aimed "to create a harmonious and high-quality residential environment" that did not "dominate the existing community".

But neighbours feared that the development would result in a loss of privacy and........
