Five arrested over Norfolk street robbery rebailed as police probe continues |
Arrests were made by police after a teenager suffered injuries to his hands and bruising to his head after a robbery in an alleyway behind Tennyson Avenue, King's Lynn.
The victim had his phone and cash taken after being approached by a group of males at about 11.30pm on November 10 last year.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.
Four people - two of whom were in their late teens - were initially arrested with a fifth person in his late teens subsequently being arrested.
A spokesman for Norfolk Constabulary said all five people arrested have been rebailed to appear at King's Lynn Police Investigation Centre on April 7 this year.
These include a man in his 20s, a man in his teens and a teenage boy arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Also re-bailed are a second man in his teens, arrested on suspicion of robbery and possession of a Class B or C drug, and a third man in his teens, arrested on suspicion of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon
