Pressure mounts over proposed Holt housing estate as locals have their say

The scheme earmarked for land north of Valley Lane in Holt has proved controversial, with dozens of objectors writing letters to North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) over fears it will harm wildlife.

Developer Bayfield Homes wants to build 23 homes on the parcel of land and a revised proposal has been submitted to the council this month.
