Historic business quarter undergoing revamp in bid to boost visitor numbers |
The Albert Street car park in Holt is one of the busiest in town but for some reason, officials say footfall to the neighbouring Chapel Yard businesses is lower than they would expect.
To try and encourage more people to visit the shops there, businesses are collaborating with the town council to make changes to the yard.
Currently, it has an uneven gravel surface which pools with rainwater, there is no seating and the entrance is frequently used as a drop-off point, officials........
