County Hall accused of 'extortion' over bus shelter demolition threats

Crowds gathered at Sheringham's community centre for a chance to have their say on plans to demolish a 1950s bus shelter in the town on Tuesday night.

As the meeting began, town clerk Michelle Baron read out a statement, warning of the consequences if it followed public opinion and called for bulldozers to be turned away.
