Crane Garden Buildings recognised for customer-led approach |
The business started when David Crane hand-crafted the first shed out of the back of the family’s DIY shop.
“When customers began asking for different sizes and designs, bespoke building became part of Crane’s story from the very start,” said Emily Holmes, head of marketing.
As demand grew, the business expanded beyond its original workshop and later relocated to the Sandringham Estate, where it was awarded a Royal Warrant of Appointment and completed several buildings for the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Over the years, Crane has also formed long-standing partnerships with respected organisations, including John Lewis, the National Trust and the RHS.
Now based at its headquarters in Narford, Crane designs, manufactures and installs a wide range of premium timber garden buildings, including sheds, summerhouses, studios, offices, greenhouses and garden rooms.
All buildings are handcrafted in Norfolk using responsibly sourced timber and installed by Crane’s own teams, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern precision to create garden spaces that are built to last and designed to be loved.
