School celebrates 70th birthday with 1950s-inspired day

The two-day celebration transported pupils and staff at Ormiston Herman Academy back to the decade it first opened its doors.

Classrooms switched technology for chalkboards, children arrived in vintage-inspired outfits and lunch followed a menu inspired by the era.
