Pair drowned after car overturned into water-filled ditch, court told

Deborah Tobyn was the passenger of a black Ford Ka when it was involved in the horror crash on the A143 in Haddiscoe, between Beccles and Great Yarmouth, on May 30.

The 64-year-old landed in the ditch after coming off the county road, along with 73-year-old driver Leslie Stukins, shortly before 4.15pm.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene, and both occupants of the car were rushed to hospital with critical injuries.
