Great Yarmouth Borough Council (GYBC) has added new lighting to the marketplace in Great Yarmouth.
Lights have been installed on the covered market, on the benches in the piazza end behind the market and on the trees surrounding the marketplace.

A Facebook post from GYBC said: "We're delighted to share that new lighting has been installed in the marketplace.
"The space now feels warmer, safer and more inviting. Whether you're visiting the market, attending an event or just passing through, the new lighting helps showcase the marketplace at its very best.
"This is another step in creating a vibrant town centre that people can enjoy day and night."

It comes after the borough council completed its £5.8 million regeneration project in the town in August when the piazza area behind the market gained new paving, lighting, trees and seating.
Work on the marketplace first began in June 2024 with new paving, benches, lighting and planters installed.
The project on the piazza area then started after more than £5 million was spent on building the covered market.
