Great Yarmouth Comic Con has announced that Paul Anderson, who stars as Arthur Shelby Jr. in the BBC's hit Peaky Blinders television series, will be attending this year's edition.

The actor will feature on 'Shelby Saturday' on Saturday, May 30, with the Peaky Blinders a key theme at the event this year.

Philip Welsby, organiser of Great Yarmouth Comic Con, said: "For Yarmouth he is a major guest. It is a real achievement to get someone of that standing and CV.

"He will be signing autographs, doing photo sessions and doing a Q&A.

"He was such an iconic figure in the whole series. It is a real draw to have someone like that attending."

It comes as the smash hit television series is to launch a new film, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, this week.

Mr Welsby also confirmed that the event is working on adding more Peaky Blinders stars to its line-up for this year.
