Proposed pedestrian crossing on 'dangerous' town road takes step forward |
The move follows a petition that was signed by 600 people calling for one to be built outside the Eckling Grange care home on Norwich Road in Dereham.
It comes after calls were made when a man in his 90s was taken to hospital after being hit by a motorbike while trying to navigate the road earlier this year.
Elderly residents at the care home have reportedly been complaining about the situation for years.
