North Norfolk beaches rated 'Excellent' for water quality in first time since 2015

Wells-next-the-Sea, Sheringham, West Runton, East Runton, Cromer, Mundesley and Sea Palling have received the highest possible rating by the Environment Agency.

It is the first time since 2015 the seven beaches in the district have been given an 'Excellent' rating for water quality.

It also marks a turnaround from 2023 when three of the stretches of coastline
