Tributes paid to 'extraordinarily talented' former theatre boss |
Treasured memories have been shared following the death of John Hales on Tuesday, aged 56.
Mr Hales was involved in a major SOS campaign to save The Seagull Theatre in Pakefield, Lowestoft - with the popular venue reopening in 2009.

The theatre on Morton Road had closed in July 2006 when Suffolk County Council withdrew its £60,000 a year funding as part of a £24m wave of budget cuts across the county.
But following a nine-month campaign to save the theatre, the keys to the building were handed over as an advisory board bought the venue from the council.
As well as being a hugely talented writer, director and actor Mr Hales also worked as the Seagull's manager until 2013, but he continued to support and stage productions at the theatre after this.
