New windows set to be installed at historic mill

Dating back to 1837, Corton Mill is a Grade II listed tower mill which is now a private residence.

Situated on Mill Lane, in Corton, between Gorleston and Lowestoft, the old mill stopped working during the winter of 1906 and the sails were removed in 1909.

Now replacement windows look set to be installed to the tower to "preserve the special interest" of the Grade II listed building after plans were given the green light.

The proposals for the 64ft high tower mill were submitted to East Suffolk Council in........
