Man jailed following frenzied attack with steak knife on boyfriend |
Robert Reardon, 31, of High Street in Lowestoft, had lured his partner to a secluded part of a wood to carry out his attack.
Reardon was jailed for 15 years for attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place after his partner was stabbed numerous times.
The violent attack on his victim, in his 20s, happened in the Burnham Beeches- near a national nature reserve and beauty spot in South Buckinghamshire - at sometime between 4pm and 5.20pm on Friday, May 23.

The victim in his 20s was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries before being later discharged.
Reardon was arrested and subsequently charged a week later following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.
He pleaded guilty to the two offences on the first day of his trial........
