Major waterfront development bid for 500 new homes at former factory site |
Amended plans have been lodged that could see new life breathed into the vacant Jeld Wen industrial site in Lowestoft.

Having been closed since 2010, a scheme described as "an exemplar regeneration opportunity which will act as a catalyst for the positive transformational change of the Kirkley Waterfront and wider town" was validated in July last year.
An application for outline planning permission, which allows for a decision on the general principles of how a site can be developed, was submitted to East Suffolk Council by development consultancy, Pegasus Group
It is still "awaiting decision" with the council.

And now amended plans have been lodged for the redundant Jeld Wen industrial site on Waveney Drive which is owned by investment company Statuslist Limited and extends to around 14.2ha (35.088 acres).
