Characterful Grade II listed property set to go under the hammer at auction

Change of use plans to transform an art gallery near Lowestoft town centre had been given the green light last year.

Two schemes - centring around applications for listed building consent and full planning permission - to create a new live/work unit on the High Street were both approved by East Suffolk Council under delegated powers in March last year.

With 102 High Street being a two-storey, commercial building with a small basement and rear garden, documents said: "Its most recent use has been a commercial art gallery".
